Job summary

PIMCO Ltd. – Pacific Investment Management Company seeks an Account Manager, Latin America, to deepen relationships with institutional investors across LATAM, including pension funds, central banks, and insurance companies.

The role is based in New York, NY or Miami, FL, with regular cross-border engagement. You will collaborate with senior coverage professionals, portfolio managers, product strategists, and investment specialists to deliver tailored investment solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Approximately 5–10 years of relevant experience in asset management, institutional sales, relationship management, client management, or related field.
• Fluency in Spanish and English, including ability to conduct meetings, presentations, and discussions in Spanish.
• Active FINRA Series 7, 63, and 3 licenses.
• Experience working with institutional investors in Latin America.
• Strong relationship-building, communication, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and deepen relationships with institutional investors across Latin America, including pension funds, central banks, and insurance companies.
• Execute client-specific growth strategies and drive business development across fixed income, alternatives, mutual funds, ETFs, SMAs, and customized mandates.
• Conduct client meetings, portfolio reviews, and investment discussions in Spanish and English.
• Travel 1–2 trips per quarter and collaborate with portfolio managers, product strategists and other investment professionals.
• Represent PIMCO at client events and contribute to cross-team initiatives to expand relationships across the region.
