Job summary

Qatar Wellness Network is seeking a part-time Lathe Operator in Las Vegas, USA. You will operate manual and CNC lathes to produce precision metal parts, set up machines, read blueprints, and monitor quality. This role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Salary is $1300 per month with visa sponsorship and a 20-hour work week. Accommodation is not provided, and site safety is a priority in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating manual lathes in manufacturing.
• Familiarity with CNC machinery preferred.
• Strong understanding of blueprints and drawings.
• Ability to read calipers and micrometers.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining operations.
• Set up and adjust machines for each job including selecting cutting tools and adjusting speeds.
• Monitor machine performance making adjustments as needed for quality control.
• Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality standards.
• Troubleshoot any issues with machines or products performing routine maintenance as needed.
• Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area.

As a Lathe Operator you will be responsible for operating and maintaining a variety of lathes to produce precision metal parts Your main duties will include setting up and adjusting machines selecting the appropriate cutting tools and monitoring the quality of the finished product You must have a strong understanding of blueprints and technical drawings as well as excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
