Platinum Staffing is seeking a dependable CNC Mill & Lathe Operator for full-time 2nd shift. The role requires safely operating CNC mills and lathes, loading fixtures, and performing quality checks to meet production standards. On-the-job training is available for motivated candidates.

Responsibilities include setting up machines, handling parts, packaging finished parts, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace while meeting daily production goals.

CNC Mill & Lathe Operator

Pay: $18–$22 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time, 2nd Shift
Monday–Thursday, 4:00 PM–2:30 AM
Overtime on Fridays as needed

We are looking for dependable and mechanically inclined CNC Mill and Lathe Operators to join our team. This position is responsible for safely and efficiently operating CNC milling and turning equipment while maintaining quality and productivity standards.

On-the-job training is available for candidates with the right attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes.
• Load and unload fixtures and parts on CNC machines.
• Perform tumbling and packaging of finished parts.
• Perform in-process quality checks and inspections using appropriate measuring equipment.
• Read and follow work instructions, standards, protocols, and procedures.
• Properly operate and maintain machinery and equipment.
• Record production and productivity information.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Work effectively with coworkers and supervisors to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.

• Basic English communication skills.
• Ability to work overtime on Fridays as needed.
• Previous CNC mill or lathe experience is preferred but not required.
• Experience reading blueprints and using micrometers and calipers is a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to consistently lift up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Ability to stand or sit for extended periods, up to approximately 10 hours per shift.
• Ability to bend, carry, push, pull, twist, and perform repetitive movements as required by the job.
• Ability to safely perform the physical demands of a manufacturing environment.
