We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Lathe Machinist to join our Tualatin Team. In this role, you will set up and operate CNC machines for quick-turn prototypes and low/mid-volume production parts.

The schedule for this role is Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday: 10 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.

This position is on-site and not eligible for Visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities:

  • CNC Setup and Operation: Teach tools, load programs, and set/adjust work/tool offsets on Haas, Fanuc, and Okuma controls.
  • Precision Work: Read prints and inspect parts for conformance to typically +/- .005 tolerance.
  • Quality Assurance: Check parts using basic measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and depth gauges.

Qualifications:

  • Skills and Experience: Trade school and/or at least one year of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Technical Aptitude: Strong mechanical skills and attention to detail.
  • Personal Attributes: Honest, dependable, self-starter, flexible, and detail-oriented. Enjoys fast-paced, rapidly changing environments. Quality-oriented team player.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to walk, bend, and lift up to 40 lbs continuously.

Working Conditions:

  • Work is performed in a machine shop environment.
  • Noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
  • Flexibility to work varying schedules and hours as needed.

Compensation / Benefits:

  • $22 to $30 per hour
