Position Summary

This role involves working independently and with others to produce high-quality products, uphold safety standards, and deliver excellent customer service. Under close supervision, operate various machines (e.g., drill presses, grinders, CNC mills and lathes) in routine, repetitive tasks.

Essential Job Functions
  1. Perform machinist duties using standard procedures and equipment efficiently to meet production goals.
  2. Follow process instructions, blueprints, and communicate effectively with team members.
  3. Implement quality policies, inspect parts for defects, and ensure product quality.
  4. Operate machines, load parts, perform adjustments, and manage one or more machines as directed.
  5. Participate in team meetings, safety activities, and contribute to continuous improvement.
  6. Mentor less experienced machinists, train on processes, and support team development.
  7. Complete special projects, support department goals, and rotate through stations as needed.
  8. Communicate professionally with all stakeholders and contribute positively to team dynamics.
  9. Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum six months machining experience required.
Required Skills and Abilities
  • Effective communication skills for internal and external interactions.
  • Ability to interpret instructions, blueprints, and measurement tools.
  • Strong interpersonal, conflict resolution, troubleshooting, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize, make decisions, and work independently or in teams.
Availability

Requires regular on-site presence, with third-shift hours from Sunday to Thursday, 10:30 pm – 7:00 am.
