Job summary

Rotary-System in Ramsey, MN is seeking a detail-oriented Lathe Machinist to set up and operate lathe machines, producing precision components in a modern, climate-controlled facility.

You will interpret drawings and CAD models, select tools, speeds and feeds, inspect finished parts, and collaborate with CNC programmers to troubleshoot and improve processes, while adhering to safety, quality standards and lean manufacturing principles.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of lathe machining and setup experience.
  • Proficiency with manual and CNC lathe machines.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate lathe machines to produce precision components.
  • Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models to develop machining strategies.
  • Select appropriate tools, speeds, and feeds for efficient and accurate machining.
  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
