$56,000.00/yr - $70,000.00/yr

Responsibilities
- Assist Senior Lateral Recruiting Manager with all aspects of the lateral hiring process and special projects.
- Collaborate with practice group leaders to identify staffing needs, develop search strategies, and draft advertisements.
- Source candidates, solicit practice group interest, extend interview invitations, and maintain regular status reports.
- Coordinate interview schedules, gather feedback, and act as liaison to candidates throughout the process.
- Facilitate decision-making, including offer letters and onboarding documents.
- Record all resume submissions in the applicant tracking system and ensure compliance with file retention policies; screen unsolicited resumes and respond to applicants.
- Establish and maintain relationships with legal search firms and stay updated on legal hiring market trends.
- Assist in developing lateral recruiting marketing materials.
- Support lateral integration and diversity initiatives.
- Prepare drafts of fee agreements and track expiration dates.
- Coordinate with HR and Conflicts teams for due diligence, including internal screening procedures.
- Work with office management to prepare for new associate arrivals and orientation.
- Organize payment of placement fees and reimbursement of expenses related to lateral hiring.
Qualifications / KSAs
- Bachelor's degree required.
- At least 2 years of experience in legal recruiting or a related field; candidates with BigLaw experience and an interest in recruiting will also be considered.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced service environment.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
- Professional and diplomatic communication skills across organizational levels.
- Positive, energetic attitude.
- Proficiency in ViRecruit, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and maintain confidentiality.
