Job summary

City of Pasadena seeks qualified lateral Police Officers to join the Pasadena Police Department. In addition to serving the community, lateral hires receive a $2,500 lump sum after one month of work and $2,500 after six months, plus $3,000 after probation.

An initial bank of 40 hours of sick leave is provided, with full benefits through CalPERS. Applicants must hold a current CA POST certificate and meet background standards.

Qualifications

• Current non-probationary California peace officer with Basic POST certificate.
• High school diploma, GED, or higher education as stated in the requirements.
• Possession of CA Driver's License and meeting vision standards.
• Ability to pass physical agility and background investigations.
