Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age by hire date.

Responsibilities

• Provide law enforcement duties, including protection of citizens and crime prevention, while maintaining security and preserving order.
• Effectively communicate to provide information, direction, mediations, and de-escalate situations and resolve conflicts.
• Determine reasonable suspicion and probable cause for detention, search, and arrest; apply necessary force as appropriate.
• Pursue fleeing suspects; testify in court; read and process legal documents.
