Job summary

City of Bowling Green is seeking a Firefighter/Paramedic to join our division. The position requires eligibility to work in the U.S., Ohio driver license, and meeting certification prerequisites; you will operate on a 24-hour duty cycle with 48 hours off, and participate in training and holiday schedules.

Candidates must have Paramedic and Firefighter II certifications, plus two consecutive years as a full-time firefighter/paramedic with minimal breaks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Valid Ohio driver’s license.
• Two consecutive years of experience as a full-time firefighter/paramedic with no more than a one year gap.
• State of Ohio Paramedic certification.
• Firefighter II Certification.
