Job summary

Qualifications

• Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade.
• Two years of experience dealing with the public.
• An equivalent combination of experience and training that will demonstrate the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying.

Responsibilities

• Provide patrol services across urban, rural, coastal, and wilderness areas.
• Respond to emergencies and investigate incidents as part of the Sheriff’s Office.
• Support court security, prisoner transport, and related law enforcement duties.
• Engage communities to promote safety and public trust.
