Frederick County Sheriff's Office is seeking qualified lateral Deputies I, II, and III to join a dedicated team in Winchester, Virginia. Qualifications

• Minimum of 1+ years of experience in law enforcement operations, including patrol, investigation, and public engagement.
• Must hold a current law enforcement officer certification.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess a valid Driver’s License.

Responsabilités

• Responding to calls for service, emergencies, and complaints, ensuring public safety and resolving issues.
• Investigating criminal activity, collecting evidence, interviewing witnesses, and preparing detailed reports.
• Enforcing traffic laws, conducting accident investigations, and providing traffic control.
• Serving warrants, subpoenas, and legal documents, and making arrests as required.
• Engaging with the community through public interactions, educational presentations, and proactive safety initiatives.
