Job summary

CACI is seeking a Latent Print Examiner II to support DEVCOM activities in a high-security laboratory environment. The role focuses on latent print processing, analysis, and documentation using ACE-V methodology and LIMS systems.

Candidates should have 4 years in forensic labs and a bachelor's in a scientific field; a master's can substitute for one year of experience. A DOD Secret Clearance is required. This position is full-time and on-site with potential local travel.

Qualifications

• Four years of experience in a forensic laboratory performing latent print processing and comparisons.
• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field; extensive related work may substitute.
• Master’s degree may substitute for one year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Process evidence to develop latent prints using cyanoacrylate fuming, dyes, powders, ninhydrin, or indanedione.
• Identify, label and photograph latent prints on evidence and in general.
• Photograph latent prints with proper equipment and document results in a database.
• Analyze latent prints in Photoshop to determine suitability and submit to database.
• Compare latent prints to known prints and document findings; maintain chain of custody.
