Job summary

Educational Service Center of the Western Reserve seeks a part-time Latchkey Aide to support teaching staff in a classroom setting. You will supervise students, maintain an organized program, assist with homework, and ensure a safe, clean environment while adhering to applicable laws and records requirements.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and be able to obtain an Ohio Educational Aide Permit.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 1–3 months related experience and/or training.
• Must obtain and maintain an Ohio Department of Education Educational Aide Permit and meet Job and Family Services requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervises students in the latchkey program.
• Maintains an organized and structured program/room for the children.
• Keeps a safe and clean environment for students and staff.
• Assists children with homework and educational activities.
