Job summary

Arclin USA LLC in Richmond, VA, seeks a Regional Trade & Compliance Manager - Latin America to lead day-to-day import/export compliance across the LATAM region, ensuring alignment with global trade regulations and company objectives.

You will manage licensing, denied party screening, sanctions, and licensing, monitor regulatory changes, supervise brokers, and partner across functions to drive compliant, efficient supply chains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, International Trade, Logistics, Legal Studies, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in trade compliance, customs, import/export operations, or related disciplines.
• Strong knowledge of import compliance, export controls, customs valuation, classification, origin, sanctions, and licensing requirements.
• Customs Broker License a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily import and export compliance activities across the assigned region.
• Ensure accurate trade documentation, customs declarations, export filings, classification, origin, valuation, and regulatory data.
• Manage export licensing, denied party screening, sanctions compliance, embargo controls, and technology transfer requirements.
• Monitor changing trade regulations across the region and assess impacts to products, customers, supply chains, costs, and operations.
• Resolve customs clearance issues, shipment delays, regulatory inquiries, and compliance-related disruptions.
• Manage and audit customs brokers, freight forwarders, and other third-party trade service providers.
• Partner with Logistics, Supply Chain, Procurement, Customer Service, Commercial, Manufacturing, Finance, Legal, and external providers.
• Support government agency inquiries, audits, inspections, compliance reviews, and trade optimization opportunities.
• Conduct training, risk assessments, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining Arclin ownership of compliance decisions and controls.
