Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a self-starting Security Researcher for the Counter Adversary Operations Team. The role focuses on Latam-language eCrime actors, gathering actionable OSINT, and delivering unique intelligence insights to CrowdStrike customers.

The ideal candidate will have LATAM language skills, OSINT experience, and the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Language capabilities including Spanish and Portuguese.
• Experience conducting OSINT investigations using Latam-language skills.
• Experience navigating social media, dark web, and forums in cyber threat environments.
• Familiarity with Latam-language eCrime groups.
• Knowledge of eCrime terminology, tools and tactics used by Latam actors.
• Experience using AI to improve decision-making and workflows.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing environments and persist to solve problems.
• Ability to work in a team and autonomously.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines with minimal guidance.
• Excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Collect actionable, timely information on Latam-language eCrime actors and actors’ tools.
• Follow up on leads and track actors in online communities using OSINT tradecraft.
• Identify threats and trends related to Latam-language eCrime actors.
• Collaborate with analytical teams on threat estimates and reports.
• Apply secure operational tradecraft and practices.
