Martinexsa USA is seeking an experienced Performance Test Engineer to design, execute, and optimize performance testing strategies for enterprise retail applications. The role emphasizes Java/Spring Boot performance analysis, cloud and observability, and CI/CD automation, with a strong focus on AI-assisted workflows.

Candidates must be based in Latin America, fluent in English and Spanish, and be able to work Eastern Time hours.

Formación

• 5+ years of hands-on performance testing or engineering.
• Experience with LoadRunner Cloud, JMeter, BlazeMeter, NeoLoad or equivalent.
• Practical chaos engineering experience (Chaos Monkey/Chaos Mesh).
• Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot performance tuning.
• Cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP; Kubernetes and Docker knowledge.
• Experience with Grafana, Splunk, New Relic for observability.
• CI/CD automation with Bitbucket, Bamboo, Git, Ansible, etc.
• SQL and NoSQL queries for data analysis and validation.
• Model Context Protocol (MCP) integration and AI-assisted workflows.
• Fluent English and Spanish; ET hours in Latin America.

Responsabilidades

• Design production-like load scenarios and performance tests.
• Execute; analyze load, stress, and stability tests.
• Root-cause analysis and collaboration with teams.
• Analyze Java/Spring Boot performance, thread dumps, heap.
• Define metrics; monitor and improve scalability and latency.
• Develop performance testing automation and reporting.
• Leverage AI-assisted workflows to boost efficiency.
• Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Use observability tools to communicate trends to stakeholders.
• Suggest improvements to processes and tooling.
