Citi is seeking a Senior Associate for its Emerging Markets FX and Rates Research Strategy team in New York. You will develop macro and quantitative research covering LATAM FX and rates, shaping market views used by clients and internal partners across trading, sales, and research.

The role emphasizes building models, translating macro developments into actionable views, and communicating findings clearly through publications and client conversations.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years in macro research, FX and rates or related capital markets.
• Degree in Economics or related quantitative field.
• Strong quantitative modeling and data analysis skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication across audiences.
• Ability to compare analytic frameworks and make recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Produce FX and rates research covering LATAM EM and translate macro developments into investment views.
• Build and maintain quantitative models for currency and rates dynamics in LATAM.
• Interpret multi-source data to form strategic conclusions with market impact.
• Communicate findings to internal partners and external clients via publications and direct engagement.
• Monitor data releases and policy developments in LATAM to inform research output.
