Job summary

Goldman Sachs in New York is seeking an Analyst to join the Capital Solutions Group, covering Latin America. You will use your analytical, structuring, and execution skills to deliver bespoke financing solutions across sovereign, corporate, financial institution, and infrastructure clients in LATAM.

Role involves live transaction execution, client relationships, and capital structuring. You will build models, assist with debt offerings, syndicated loans, and liability management, while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related quantitative discipline.
• 0-1 years of direct investment banking, debt capital markets, or equivalent financial services experience.
• Strong team orientation with the ability to collaborate effectively across multi-disciplinary, cross-border teams.
• Fluency (written and oral) in Spanish and/or Portuguese.

Responsibilities

• Structure, analyze, and execute financing products for LATAM borrowers including cross-border bonds, private placements, debentures, securitizations, syndicated loans, and liability management transactions.
• Build and analyze complex financial models (DCF, operating models, debt sizing, LBO frameworks, comps/precedents).
• Review and analyze credit agreements, collateral documents, and offering memoranda to ensure transactional integrity.
• Prepare client presentations, pitch books, and marketing materials evaluating capital structure alternatives and refinancing options.
• Draft offering documentation and liaise with syndicate desks, rating agencies, and investors during distribution.
• Mentor junior analysts and interns to ensure accurate execution.
