Lineage Logistics seeks a hands-on transportation leader based in Conklin, NY, overseeing a team of 80+ drivers, four supervisors, and office staff, with travel to NY and PA domiciles. The role emphasizes coaching, change management, and driving performance across the network.

The ideal candidate will lead customer service, operations, procurement, compliance, planning, and rate negotiation while building a culture of accountability and profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with customers and internal teams.
• Strong ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Responsabilités

• Manage and train direct reports to ensure productivity and efficiency.
• Develop sourcing, procurement, and operations strategies for efficient pick-up and delivery while maintaining margins.
• Communicate with customers, carriers, and internal staff to maintain service levels.
• Ensure compliance as an asset-based carrier and monitor partner carriers for safety and contractual terms.
• Review, audit, and approve freight invoices to maintain profitability and cash flow.
• Collaborate with cross-functional supply chain leaders to resolve issues and offer logistics solutions.
• Monitor KPIs and cost factors affecting operational effectiveness.
