Leidos in San Diego seeks an Applications Software Engineer within the INTEL Sector's Cyber & Analytics Business Area (CABA) to contribute to secure software development for key government programs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust software solutions for national security missions.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance required
• BS degree with 8–12 years experience or Masters with 6–10 years experience; degree may be substituted with experience
• Five years of COMSEC operations as Local Element user or KOA manager
• Three years of experience with SKLs and similar fill devices
• DoD 8570 approved security certification (Security+ or equivalent) within 90 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Conduct GAT, functional and regression tests of SKL UAS and other fill devices in San Diego facilities
• Follow SOPs in the COMSEC Vault and Last Mile Lab
• Attend weekly SKL TELCONs with Last Mile and Tri-service reps
• Prepare COMSEC transfer requests for SKL Pandas shipments to KOA and NIWC PAC KOA for approval
• Submit CMS plans and email authorizations to KOA for approval
• Draft and submit test status reports, PCRs, and standard test reports
• Develop SKL test procedures for Navy ECUs and support SKL profiles for Navy ECUs
• Provide SME support to Navy fleet users and Tier 3 Help Desk
• Maintain KMI Test Infrastructure to order keys/certificates and push to dev systems for T&E
• Peer review all deliverables and reports
• Operate and maintain test MGCs and Last Mile Vault equipment
• Monthly audit of fill devices (SKLs, TKLs, SDSs, RASKLs)
• Monthly destruction of physical and electronic keys
• Follow COMSEC policies at all times
