Job summary

Lineage is seeking a Transportation Supervisor at our Attalla, AL warehouse to oversee ELD performance, DOT compliance, and driver operations. You will coordinate schedules, review logs, and optimize routes to improve efficiency and safety.

The role requires supervisory experience in transportation, strong communication skills, and the ability to develop employees while managing daily dispatch activities and performance metrics.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate organizational skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Detail-oriented with a track record of meeting deadlines.
• Proficient with MS Office, scheduling and routing software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of driver safety and DOT compliance requirements.
• Ability to motivate and develop employees.

Responsibilities

• Oversee, evaluate, and ensure ELD performance working with ELD Coordinator to resolve issues.
• Communicate, review, and ensure DOT compliance; logs are up to date for driver review.
• Resolve driver issues and needs, on and off the road.
• Review backhaul assignments and adjust routing or delivery as needed.
• Coordinate time off requests with appropriate management personnel.
• Ensure driver documentation is completed accurately on a daily basis.
• Work with Logistics to establish efficient routing.
• Review communication log and address open issues on a daily basis.
• Analyze driver performance and provide recommendations to appropriate personnel.
• Assist the Transportation Manager with supervising Dispatchers and addressing personnel issues.
• Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.
