Job summary

Lineage Logistics in Attalla, AL is seeking a Transportation Supervisor for last mile delivery. This on-site role oversees daily transportation operations, reviews performance, ensures DOT compliance, and resolves driver issues.

You will coordinate routing, monitor logs, support the Transportation Manager, and develop a small team of dispatchers while maintaining safety and service standards for our customers.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree with 2+ years in transportation or related role; supervisory experience preferred.
• Food industry experience preferred.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Oversee DOT compliance and logs; coordinate with ELD Coordinator to resolve issues.
• Review driver performance and address issues; optimize routing and backhaul assignments.
• Assist Transportation Manager with supervision of Dispatchers and staff.
• Resolve driver issues and ensure timely, compliant deliveries.
• Complete special projects as assigned.

## Transportation Supervisor - Last Mile DeliveryApply: On-Site: Attalla, AL (Industrial Blvd.): Full time: Posted Yesterday: R0109247This role is from Tuesday - Saturday from 9AM -6PM. This is a last mile delivery warehouse located in Attalla, AL.The Transportation Supervisor provides day to day oversight within the Transportation department by reviewing performance, ensuring compliance, and resolving driver issues.**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:*** Oversee, evaluate, and ensure ELD performance working with ELD Coordinator to resolve issues.* Communicate, review, and ensure DOT compliance. Ensure logs are up to date for Driver review.* Resolve Driver issues and needs, on and off the road.* Review backhaul assignments and make necessary adjustment to routing or delivery.* Coordinate time off requests with appropriate management personnel.* Ensure driver documentation is completed accurately on a daily basis.* Work with Logistics to establish efficient routing.* Review communication log and address open issues on a daily basis.* Analyze driver performance and provide recommendations to appropriate personnel.* Assists the Transportation Manager with carrying out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws, including directing the work of Dispatchers and addressing and resolving department personnel issues.* Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.**QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, and SKILLS:**To perform this job successfully, the Transportation Supervisor must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
