Job summary

RXO, Inc. is seeking a Field Delivery Manager, Last Mile Operations to support and optimize home delivery operations across locations within the assigned territory.

You will lead day-to-day field operations, collaborating with independent contractors, client stakeholders, dispatch teams, and warehouse personnel to ensure safe, on-time deliveries. Ideal candidates have 4+ years in logistics or field operations, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and willingness to travel regularly.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of progressive experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, home delivery, or field operations.
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Willingness to travel regularly within an assigned territory.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and the ability to safely operate a vehicle in accordance with all applicable laws and company policies

Responsibilities

• As the day-to-day field leader, you will work closely with independent contract carriers, client stakeholders, dispatch teams, and warehouse personnel to ensure safe, efficient, and on-time deliveries.
• Success in this role requires strong operational leadership, relationship building, and the ability to influence performance without direct authority.
• Drive operational performance across multiple delivery sites and client locations.
• Monitor key operational metrics including On-Time Delivery (OTD), Voice of Customer (VOC), Overall Satisfaction (OSAT), and service-level performance.
• Conduct ride-behinds and field audits to evaluate safety, delivery quality, evaluate installation of appliances, customer experience, and compliance.
• Coach independent contract carriers and delivery teams to improve performance and service execution.
• Support daily loadouts, route planning, dispatch operations, and issue resolution.
• Serve as the primary RXO representative for day-to-day client interactions and relationship management.
