Job summary

The Lash Lounge in Oakland, CA is hiring full-time and part-time lash stylists. You will perform high-quality eyelash extension services, educate guests on aftercare, promote memberships, and help grow our client base.

The role requires an active cosmetology or esthetics license and at least one year of lash experience. Weekend availability is required; you will join a team focused on safe application and excellent guest care.

Qualifications

• Active Cosmetology or Esthetics license.
• 1+ years as a Lash Stylist REQUIRED.
• 1+ years with hand-made volume fans, preferred.
• Strong verbal communication and listening skills.
• Forms strong working relationships within team.
• Customer service focused; loves on your clients.
• Reliable transportation
• Strong work ethic
• Initiates self-learning and is comfortable with educating clients on products and services offered

Responsibilities

• Create excellent experience for every guest through a friendly and helpful attitude
• Educate guests on proper care of lashes and recommend exclusive aftercare products
• Understand and promote products and memberships
• Perform high quality and consecutive professional eyelash extension services
• Generate new clientele through our amazing referral programs
• Helps with promotion at supplementary events and performs, when asked, services during those promotional events to help market the salon and build the brand.
• Maintain clean and sterile work environment
• Must be available Saturdays and Sundays.
• Responsible for proper sanitation of implements according to Lash Lounge protocol and Licensing
