Job summary

Caliberr Staffing seeks a Laser Welding Machine Operator and Programmer to set up, program, and run TRUMPF laser welders. You will ensure weld quality, manage fixtures, and collaborate with engineering, quality, maintenance, and production teams to maximize efficiency.

You will develop laser welding programs, interpret SolidWorks drawings, and optimize processes for repeatable, high-precision results in a safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• Proven background in programming and running TRUMPF laser welding systems or similar CNC-controlled equipment.
• Strong working knowledge of SolidWorks and engineering drawings.
• Experience interpreting CAD models, weld symbols, and dimensional tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full cycle of programming, configuring, and operating TRUMPF laser welding machinery.
• Create, refine, and maintain machine programs for optimal performance.
• Analyze SolidWorks models and drawings to identify weld specs, part positioning, and fixture requirements.
