Job summary

SPX Technologies, Mason, OH, seeks a Laser Unload, Parts Handler to safely unload and sort metal parts from laser-cutting operations. You will inspect parts, organize materials by work orders, and move items to the next production stage with attention to safety and quality.

Ideal candidates can lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and read work instructions. This hands-on role offers growth in a diverse manufacturing team and requires reliable attendance.

Qualifications

• Ability to safely lift and move materials up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach and perform repetitive work.
• Basic counting, math and measurement skills.
• Ability to read and follow basic work instructions and tickets.
• Attention to detail and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Unload, sort, identify, and move metal parts from laser-cutting equipment.
• Inspect parts for defects and report concerns to leads.
• Organize material by work orders and job tickets.
• Stack, stage, and move parts to the next production area.
• Document counts and production information using procedures.
• Assist with other fabrication tasks as workload requires.
