Job summary

SPX Technologies, including Cincinnati Fan, seeks a Laser Unload, Parts Handler to support fabrication operations by unloading, sorting, and moving metal parts produced by laser-cutting equipment. You will inspect parts for defects, organize by work order, and advance parts to the next production stage.

This hands-on role requires attention to detail, safe material handling, and physical work throughout the shift in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to safely lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds with assistance when needed.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive physical work throughout the shift.
• Basic counting, math, and measurement skills.
• Ability to read and follow basic work instructions, part numbers, and job tickets.
• Attention to detail, reliable attendance, and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules and use PPE around laser-cutting and material-handling equipment.
• Maintain unload area, carts, racks, and surrounding work areas in a clean condition.
• Safely unload cut metal parts and organize them by work orders or production requirements.
• Sort, count, identify, and stage parts for the next operation; move parts with approved equipment.
