Job summary

MPE is seeking a Laser/Turret Team Member to operate laser and turret equipment in a fast-paced environment, ensuring parts meet print and quality requirements. The role involves setup, material handling, tooling maintenance, calibration, and safety compliance.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of experience with laser/turret machinery or CNCs, can read mechanical drawings, and is proficient with calipers and height gauges.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of set up and running laser/turret equipment or CNCs.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings.
• Knowledge of measuring tools such as calipers, pin gauges, and height gauges.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate turret/laser equipment to cut metal components to print and MPE quality requirements.
• Identify raw materials, load/unload materials using manual lifts, overhead cranes, and forklifts.
• Understand Inspecvision scanner and setup.
• Disassemble turret tooling and sharpen tooling as needed.
• Perform nozzle alignment and focus lens cleaning.
• Calibrate focus lens and perform laser/punch zero coupon before shift.
• Set up and operate sheet loader and related machinery.
• Verify quality and perform process verification in ERPFlexing and related tasks.
• Follow all MPE safety policies and maintain organized workspace.
