Job summary

Keel is seeking a Laser Track Technician to support production, tooling verification, and quality assurance through basic dimensional inspection using portable laser tracking systems. You will perform setup/breakdown, operate under supervision, and assist in data collection and reporting.

Under close supervision, you will follow metrology procedures, maintain calibration logs, and ensure safety standards while contributing to a team focused on precision and craftsmanship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
• 0–2 years of experience in manufacturing, quality, or inspection.
• Basic understanding of blueprints and measurements.
• Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing fundamentals preferred.
• Attention to detail
• Mechanical aptitude
• Basic computer proficiency
• Strong work ethic

Responsibilities

Your Mission:

The Laser Track Technician performs basic dimensional inspection and measurement tasks using portable laser tracking systems under close supervision. This role supports production, tooling verification, and quality assurance activities.

Physical Requirements:

• May be required to stand, walk, sit, reach/pull/push with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop or kneel regularly.
• May lift or carry 50lbs. Weights exceeding 50lbs will require mechanical means to maneuver.
