Job summary

Access Laser Company in Everett, WA is seeking a Laser Test Technician to join our Production Team. You will build, test, troubleshoot, and refine electromechanical laser assemblies to meet strict performance and quality standards while using calibration tools and ERP tracking.

You should have an associate degree in physics/optics or electronics technology, hands-on experience with electromechanical systems, and a demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment focused on

Qualifications

• Associate degree in physics, optics, photonics, electronics technology, or related field.
• In-depth knowledge of electronics, optics, or mechanical manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience building, troubleshooting, and repairing electromechanical systems.
• High attention to detail and teamwork.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs routinely and up to 50 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Build, test, troubleshoot, and rework electromechanical laser assemblies to production standards.
• Ensure lasers meet performance and quality standards.
• Utilize measurement and test equipment such as oscilloscopes, function generators, multimeters, and network analyzers.
• Regularly report updates to the production lead.
• Collaborate with production, quality and engineering teams to update work instructions and data reporting documents.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and data reporting.
• Perform quality work in a clean room and ESD controlled environment.
• Use ERP to track jobs and production time.
