Job summary

Agiliti Health, Inc is seeking a Laser Technician V to maintain, test and prepare laser equipment for surgical procedures at the Oakland, NJ site. You will ensure safe handling, sterilization, and proper setup of all devices before, during, and after cases, while coordinating disposables and maintenance with staff.

The role requires lifting up to 80 pounds, a valid driver's license, and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior medical, EMT, Surgical Technologist, or military experience preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license and be able to lift up to 80 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Handle delicate lasers and equipment before, during and after procedures.
• Test fire all equipment and inspect supplies prior to cases.
• Arrive on time and prepared for cases; transport sterile supplies safely.
• Provide staff with necessary disposables for Agiliti Surgical Services equipment.
• Prepare OR by testing and cleaning equipment and ensuring sterilization for procedures.
• Return equipment to stock and organize after procedures; ensure proper orderliness.
• Process paperwork (Work Orders, Purchase Orders, Inventory) timely and accurate.
• Maintain readiness of lasers, instruments and supplies at all times.
• Assist with vehicle maintenance and routine checks; report issues.
• Attend meetings/training; participate in education programs and onboarding.
• Take surgical cases as scheduled and participate in on-call as required.
