Job summary

BD is hiring for an Endourology lab role in Covington, GA. This position trains and certifies operators of advanced medical laser systems used in developing patient-focused technologies.

You will collaborate with engineers to evaluate, improve, and support devices from concept to commercialization. The role emphasizes hands-on lab work with laser systems, adherence to safety policies, and compliance with FDA GMP.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on work with laser systems, optical fibers, sensors, and prototype devices in a research lab.
• Operate advanced laser systems for product development and verification testing.
• Execute approved test protocols and document results for engineering decisions.
• Develop and execute test methods and product specifications.
• Maintain laboratory data and enter it in digital formats as required.
• Order laboratory supplies and monitor calibration status as needed.
• Interpret graphs, charts, and tables to support development milestones.
• Adhere to safety policies and FDA regulations (21 CFR Part 820, GMP).
