Job summary

Metalcraft of Mayville, Inc. is seeking a Production Helper to assist laser operators, de-nest parts, and improve part quality in a fast-paced fabrication setting. You will work with Mazak and Mitsubishi CO2 lasers, perform material handling, and maintain a clean, organized work area.

This role requires basic computer skills, the ability to lift 50 pounds, and strong teamwork. The position offers a full-time schedule on 1st shift with safety and quality compliance expectations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and move materials.
• Basic computer skills and ability to perform computer functions related to the job.
• Team-oriented, collaborative work style and effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist operators with setups and operations on Mazak and Mitsubishi CO2 Lasers.
• De-nest laser-cut parts and remove oxide to improve finish.
• Cross-train across the Laser department and maintain housekeeping in the area.
• Receive and store steel properly and perform routine quality checks.
• Adhere to safety standards and document any material or production issues.
