• Experience with laser or metalworking machines is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders and tooling instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic production activities on laser machines.
• Review blueprints and work orders to understand machining characteristics.
• Set up laser unit with correct nozzles, speeds and feeds.
• Determine specifications and sequence for processing.
• Position work pieces and operate machines as needed.
• Measure parts with calipers and micrometers to ensure tolerances.
• Conduct quality inspections and maintain ISO-related processes where applicable.
• Maintain clean equipment and follow safety and quality procedures.
• Record paperwork and handle material movement and storage.
