Job summary

Torrey Holistics in Ohio is seeking a laser cutting operator to set up and run fiber and CO₂ laser systems, including Mitsubishi. You will load materials, read work orders and blueprints, and ensure parts meet specifications.

You’ll adjust machines for accuracy, maintain a clean and safe workspace, and support the team to hit production goals. Experience reading tapes and measuring with calipers is preferred; strong attention to detail is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment.
• Read a tape measure and perform basic measurements accurately.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate fiber and CO2 laser cutting machines.
• Load and position metal materials for production runs.
• Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and specifications.
• Measure finished parts using tape measures, calipers, or gauges to ensure quality.
• Make adjustments to machines as needed to maintain accuracy.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Support team members and production goals as needed.
