Job summary

Avery Dennison is seeking a Laser Print Operator to set up, adjust, operate and troubleshoot digital laser printers on the assigned shift. This role requires hands-on production experience, strong attention to quality, and the ability to follow schedules to minimize waste and ensure on-time labeling output.

The successful candidate will have 2 years of laser print experience and a high school diploma or GED, with preferred familiarity with Xerox iGen and DP printers.

Qualifications

• 2 years laser print experience or equivalent.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience with Xerox iGen and/or DP printers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Minimize waste or misuse of materials.
• Perform laser print tasks per daily schedules.
• Operate and troubleshoot multiple printers during the shift.
• Keep the work order system up-to-date.
• Ensure quality of laser print and finished labels.
• Help team meet production deadlines.
• Place service calls with Xerox for DP135 and 5252 printers.
• Maintain printer job logs and inventory records.
• Perform distribution as needed.
• Maintain inventory of preprint items in the production area.
