Position work piece onto table with hands or crane, using vacuum system to hold piece in place. Layout cuts on computer and select lenses according to thickness and type of metal. Interpret job information to determine specific material requirements. Layout operations to maximize material utilization.* undefined* Label completed parts with appropriate part number. Remove chips and drop from parts and staging table. Determine sequence of operation for each process and edit program based on sequence. Rack and move pieces to staging area.* undefined* Verify conformance of first piece to specifications using calipers, protractors, gauges, and measuring tape. Gauge work pieces randomly through run to ensure maintenance of settings and make adjustments as necessary.* undefined* Perform quality checks, complete check lists, verify counts, record time per job and ensure compliance with production schedules.
