Job summary

REFAB, a DeWys Metal Solutions company, seeks a skilled Laser Operator for their 2nd shift. You will set up, adjust, and operate the laser, read blueprints, troubleshoot defects, and conduct ongoing quality checks while keeping a clean workspace.

Prior metal fabrication or laser experience is preferred; reading blueprints and performing calculations are essential. Willingness to overtime as needed is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in metal fabrication or laser preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations.
• Willing to work overtime as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and operate laser.
• Read customer blueprints and work instructions.
• Troubleshoot issues to eliminate causes of rejected parts.
• Perform periodic quality inspections throughout shift.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
