Job summary

Crown Technical Systems in Dallas, TX is seeking a Laser Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. You will operate and maintain laser cutting machines to produce precise parts for power distribution systems, working Monday through Friday from 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM with overtime as needed.

Responsibilities include setting up equipment, preparing materials, inspecting finished cuts for quality, performing routine maintenance, and troubleshooting issues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience with laser cutting machines or similar equipment.
• Certifications in laser cutting or CNC machining preferred.
• Experience with laser cutting machines and software.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality products.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Laser Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining laser cutting machines to precision-cut various materials, ensuring high-quality products and efficient production processes.

Work Environment:

Work in a manufacturing environment with laser cutting machines.

Shift:

Monday - Friday, 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM

Overtime available.

What a typical day looks like:

• Set up, operate, and monitor laser cutting machines
• Prepare materials for cutting, ensuring proper alignment, and positioning.
• Inspect cut products for quality and accuracy
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and lubricating the machine

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing, pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying materials.
• Must be able to lift 35 pounds at a time
• Must wear PPE, such as gloves, safety glasses, hard hat, and ear protection, while working on the production floor
