Job summary

MEC (Mayville Engineering Company, Inc.) is seeking a Manufacturing Associate to operate basic machinery and support production processes in Bedford, PA. You will load/unload materials, monitor operations, perform routine equipment checks, keep a clean workspace, and follow all safety guidelines.

The role requires basic math, ERP familiarity, and effective communication in English. Prior manufacturing experience is preferred but not required, with opportunities to grow within a hands-on team

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred but not required.

Physical & Environmental Requirements

• Some physical demand; often lifts light to heavy-weight material. Frequent lifting/moving average weight (up to 50lbs/11-27 kgs) material.


• Ability to perform occasional to frequent pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, twisting, crawling and/or reaching over a full work shift (8-12 hours).


• Ability to operate motorized vehicles over a full work shift (8-12 hours).


• Ability to stand and / or walk constantly over a full work shift on concrete (8-12 hours).


• May be exposed to noise levels for which hearing protection is required to be worn over a full work shift (8-12 hours).
