Job summary

Catalytic Combustion in Bloomer, WI seeks a Laser Operator to set up and run Bystronic or Trumph laser systems, and assist with press brakes, grinding and deburring as needed. You will read blueprints, verify parts against drawings and BOMs, and help maintain inventory and quality records.

The role includes 2nd shift: M-Th 4:30pm-2:30am with a $5/hr shift differential, offering competitive wages and benefits as part of a larger team. Training and mentoring are provided.

Qualifications

• Math skills and blueprint use.
• Metal fabrication methods, and mechanical aptitude are required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to operate overhead cranes, forklifts and other equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Bystronic or Trump laser systems.
• Assist with operating press brakes, grinding and deburring parts as needed.
• Prepare and set up tools and equipment for laser cutting jobs.
• Cut parts in accordance with specifications and BOMs.
• Review parts for accuracy against drawings and BOMs.
• Identify potential quality or productivity improvements.
