Job summary

Integrity Trade Services is hiring a Laser Operator for our client to start as soon as possible at $25/hr based on experience. First shift runs 6:30am-3:00pm with overtime as needed.

This temporary role offers potential advancement to full-time employment with comprehensive benefits through ITS upon hire. Qualifications

• Strong math skills, including fractions and decimals
• Mechanical aptitude for tool replacements
• Willingness to perform repetitive tasks
• Basic computer skills
• Good eyesight with depth perception, peripheral vision, and color differentiation
• Able to sit or stand for long periods
• Able to lift up to 20 lbs regularly and up to 40 lbs occasionally
• Proficient with hand tools
• Able to communicate well with others
• Excellent hand-eye coordination
• Great attention to detail
• Positive attitude, energy, effort, and attendance

Responsibilities

• Record daily production and scrap in ERP system
• Read and interpret detailed work instructions, blueprints, and drawings
• Follow daily schedules and meet production goals
• Maintain safety, quality, and housekeeping standards
• Adjust laser and perform required preventative maintenance
• Communicate issues affecting production to team lead or supervisor
• Perform other duties as assigned

Essential Functions:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow standardized work procedures.
• Ability to produce quality parts that meet company/customer specifications
• Record daily production and scrap in ERP system.
• Ability to read and comprehend detailed work instructions, blueprints, and/or drawings.
• Ability to follow daily schedules and meet production goals.
• Follow industry and company policies, procedures and safety standards at all times.
• Effectively communicates any issues affecting production to the team lead or supervisor
• Perform physical activities include lifting, stooping, twisting and bending on a regular basis.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Perform adjustments on laser as needed.
• Perform required preventative maintenance.

Skills and Qualifications:

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 1-3 Years’ Laser experience in a manufacturing company.
