Job summary

Resonetics is seeking a Laser New Product Development Engineer II to develop technical solutions and drive Lightspeed R&D projects for medical devices. You will collaborate across sites to move prototypes through the PReP process toward production and provide updates to customers.

The role requires strong laser systems experience, GD&T skills, and leadership of cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Up to 5 years of engineering experience.
• Ability to present and convey complex engineering ideas to customers.
• Strong experience with high precision manufacturing Laser Systems.
• Understanding of high precision manufacturing equipment (CNC, Grinding, Tubes...).
• Laser Welding/Laser Cutting/Systems Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Define, plan, and complete complex Lightspeed projects across sites with innovation and urgency.
• Optimize parameters on Resonetics technology affecting outputs and quality.
• Perform setup, troubleshooting, and process development on Lightspeed equipment.
• Lead tasks and projects with high quality deliverables across departments.
• Mentor Lightspeed Technicians and Engineers.
• Lead quotes and customer calls to progress projects to production.
• Document process parameters per Quality Systems requirements.
