Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; vocational training in manufacturing is desirable.
• Three (3) years manufacturing and/or testing experience desired.
• Prior experience in production and/or measurement of precision optics desired.
• Knowledge of cleaning and safe handling of optics is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete advanced optical testing, including test setups, precision alignment, and completing measurements.
• Report metrology findings to Coating personnel.
• Calibrate lab equipment as needed and maintain test hardware readiness.
• Grow the Laser Metrology team by training and guiding newer technicians.
• Participate in the development and refinement of standard operating procedures.
• Perform other duties as outlined by the Coating Production and Engineering teams.
