MetalStorm Inc is hiring a Laser Material Handler to load material onto the laser bed, verify dimensions and finish, and produce parts to customer specifications. This role requires reading blueprints and using measuring tools, with a focus on accuracy and speed.

Employees enjoy comprehensive benefits and a daytime, 8-10 hour shift schedule, Monday through Friday, with on-site work in De Pere, WI. Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and follow safety protocols.

Laser Material Handler

Duties/Responsibilities/Skills:

• Determines and loads correct material that needs to be staged on the laser bed.
• Verifies material, thickness, overall size, and finish meets job requirements.
  
• Produce quality, error free parts with precision on customer specifications.
  
• Read blueprints, tape measure, and caliper.
• Be able to follow directions in a fast-paced environment while completing jobs in allotted time frames.

Experience:

• Prior Laser experience and knowledge (preferred)

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking with frequent pulling, pushing, lifting, & bending.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds daily.
• All personal protective equipment must be worn where necessary (i.e. safety glasses, shoes, etc.)

Salary:

• Starting at $18-$20/hour (based on knowledge and experience)

Schedule:

• 8-10 hour shifts
• Monday-Friday
• Daytime
