Job summary

ARCH Medical Solutions is seeking a skilled Laser Marking Technician for our Seabrook, NH facility. You will set up and operate laser marking machines, ensuring accuracy on standard production and custom orders, and perform dimensional inspections.

You will collaborate with Engineering on fixturing and programming, maintain equipment and fixtures, and support training of new operators while strictly following safety and quality procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with laser marking technologies preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Caliper, OC and gaging for dimensional inspection experience.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate laser marking machines.
• Perform laser marking on standard production and custom orders.
• Inspect laser markings visually and dimensionally.
• Program fixturing and assist Engineering as needed.
• Maintain fixture storage and perform routine equipment maintenance.
• Train new team members and ensure safety and cleanliness.
• Adhere to Seabrook Quality System procedures.
• Follow safety requirements and keep work area clean.

Description

Summary:

This position is responsible for the setup, operation, and accuracy of various laser marking/etching machines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the set up and operation of various laser marking machines in the department.
• Perform laser marking on standard production and custom orders.
• Perform visual and dimensional inspection of all laser markings/etchings.
• Program and determine fixturing needs for new and custom products.
• Work with Engineering to assist with programming and fixturing needs, as required.
• Maintain fixture storage controls.
• Perform routine maintenance activities for equipment as per work instructions.
• Detect and report discrepancies or questionable conditions to the Department Supervisor.
• Assist with training of new team members and operators.
• Adhere to company safety requirements.
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
• Assure that assigned activities are performed in accordance with Seabrook Quality System procedures.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED required

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Previous experience with laser marking technologies preferable.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Experienced in use of caliper, OC and gaging for dimensional inspection.
• High level of attention to detail.

Physical Demands:

• Light to moderate physical exertion required
• Lifting/carrying Maximum lbs.: 50
• Regularly required to stand, reach, and move about the facility
