Debbie’s Staffing is seeking a Laser Machine Operator Assistant for our client in North Attleboro, MA. This hands-on role supports the Laser Machine Operator with material preparation, loading, and operation of laser equipment in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities include loading materials, coordinating with departments, and ensuring precise cuts with minimal waste. The job requires physical effort and good teamwork, with competitive pay and full-time hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Production or manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Experience with engraving equipment/software is a plus.
• Ability to read art files and interpret tolerances to reduce waste.
• Strong communication and teamwork are essential.
• Attention to detail and quality control in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, operating, and creating medallions and awards.
• Assist in using Laser machines and computer software to prepare and cut materials.
• Load and position materials to be cut or lasered.
• Load into the sander and inspect material prior to coating.
• Assist the operator in adjusting settings and monitoring production.
• Move and rack finished products and assist in assembly/packaging.
• Read and interpret art files to understand tolerances and minimize waste.
• Maintain records of quantities produced and materials used.
