Aerospace supply company looking for a day shift operator for our Tanaka Laser machine. 5 plus years of experience, able to use Cad software, utilize DXF files and operate FANUC Series 16i-LB controls. Great benefits and 401k plan.

Description

• Must be able to control machine speed, material feed and path of cut.
• Must maintain quality and safety standards and adhere to quality procedures and processes.
• Must be able to plan out machine cutting by studying blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, drawings, reference planes, locations of surfaces and machining parameters.
• Must be able to interpret geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T).
• Must be able to confirm machine and part setups before cutting materials.
• Must maintain continuity between work shifts

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Must be able to stand by machine for full work shift.
• Must have unrestricted dexterity.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, squat, balance, and rotate body without restrictions.

Skill Requirements

• Two (2) Years of Laser Machine Operation Experience.
• Must be competent in using basic measurement instruments.
• Must be certified in crane operations.
