Night Shift | 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM (50-60 hours a week)

About the Role:

Magnum Staffing Services is hiring a Laser Machine Operator for a temp-to-hire opportunity in the 77034 area. If you have experience operating laser cutting equipment—especially the Ermaksan G Force 6Kw fiber laser—and are looking for stable, long-term night shift work, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

1. Operate Ermaksan G Force laser cutting machine for precision metal fabrication
2. Read and follow technical drawings, cut sheets, and job orders
3. Set up the machine, load materials, and adjust settings to ensure quality and efficiency
4. Perform inspections of finished parts for accuracy and defects
5. Conduct routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting
6. Maintain a clean and safe work area in accordance with safety standards

Requirements:

1. Experience operating a laser cutting machine (preferably Ermaksan or similar)
2. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
3. Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
4. Mechanical aptitude and ability to work independently
5. Night shift availability required
